Hi, I'm Dr Philip McMillan.

And as I continue to think, research and reflect on the clinical patterns that may be relevant with COVID-19 and the pandemic going forward, there are a few things that stand out as being really important.

What I think is going to happen next from a mental health point of view is that those individuals who had pre-existing inflammatory conditions that may have been stabilized in the brain will then have further flare-ups of symptoms.

It's just an instinct when I observe patients and observe their trajectory.

In order to see this, you have to actually be looking back historically. And what I'm finding is that very often patients are first on well, sometimes months before the significant clinical presentation.
