I am about to conduct a funeral for someone who died within and hour of suddenly becoming breathless. No apparent co-morbidities. The ambulance did not turn up and when the paramedic arrived they were dead. The post-mortem was venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.

I wrote a lengthy reply to your comment but it vanished so trying again:

Are you a funeral director and if so, how was your business doing during "the pandemic" prior to the jab roll-out? Did you experience an uptick in funeral services for people who died "due to covid"?

How has business been since "the end" of covid, and the distribution of the miracle jabs?

If you've experienced an uptick in business since the rollout: has that uptick been experienced across all age cohorts or foe those who were in late stages of life, or who weren't healthy prior to or post rollout?

Lastly: Have any (other) family members of the deceased shared specific data with you regarding the nature of their loved ones' death (other than with regard to this anecdote), eg; whether their passing was unusually sudden and not expected?

And if so: how long have you been conducting funerals for those who have died under unusually sudden and unexpected circumstances?

Thanks for your comment and your time.
