Headlines have been rolling out across the world about the incredible impact of vaccines for reducing COVID-19 mortality. This would be easier to accept if there was a concurrent high mortality in the lowest vaccinated region of the world, in Africa.

I don't buy that novel jabs saved over 20 million lives, because the authorities won't take excess deaths into consideration, & jab injury is underreported etc....
In the Midlands at least, where I live - covid mitigations were very poor (like small shops with doors closed even in summer & late masking etc...). No doubt there were already high levels of naturally-acquired immunity before the rollout...
Another explanation for low-mortality in Africa is that there aren't so many elderly people & obesity - but maybe poverty & malnutrition offsets this.... Interestingly, South Africa - the worst hit area, is more likely to practise unhealthy Western-lifestyles & diet etc.
To conclude, we are basically now living under a system where 'the party' is never wrong (& financial interests take president...) - so even off-narrative discussion is considered a subversive act (& potentially punishable), so it's going to be very difficult to find the truth of the matter on various topics where there are special interests at play & censorship etc...
The figure of 20 million is highly speculative and I suspect its based on the same "modelling" used to predict Covid deaths, early in the pandemic. The same predictions used to scare people beyond reason.
I'll start to take them seriously when they drop the "correlation doesn't mean causation" narrative in relation to Vaccine deaths and injuries.
They were content enough to correlate heart attacks, cancer, traffic accidents etc as a Covid death with a positive test.
Dr. McMillan, I have to shout out. You have integrity in my humble intuition knowing. Your professional insights come from sharing of your research and not from fear or ego attention capture of ones short short attention span brain . You give grace and understanding to help in the learning process of the unknowing. And the maps for one to read, of one free will brain to decide to study.

Regarding the stats. The US and others may be over attributing COVID mortality. I’ve no idea how we sort these variable standards.

Yes...indeed and thank you !
Re “Vaccination has been clearly demonstrated to reduce the risk of severe COVID-19 in the high risk population cohort.”
What’s the evidence to support this statement?
