Dear Dr.McMillan,

That is the best way of explaining the scenario and possible outcomes. Good format.

Nice - hard to see the problem dinos with all the docile dinos. How to present IgG4 should be a tiny percent of a healthy immune system?

Yes.

Challenging to get some of these concepts across in ways that everyone can understand.

What can people do to manage this IgG4 class switch problem in themselves or family members? It appears to me that everybody who was mRNA-vaccinated prior to infection (if any) will have this class switch, and the symptoms of IgG4 related disease will be invisible unless a doctor searches carefully for them.

Maybe we all must wait until it become a little more mainstream?

There are many potential issues, including this may be not cause any problems.

Needs lot more attention.

Dynamics of Serum-Neutralizing Antibody Responses in Vaccinees through Multiple Doses of the BNT162b2 Vaccine

https://www.mdpi.com/2076-393X/11/11/1720

“Our data indicate poor durability of vaccine-induced nAb responses while the induction of markedly elevated levels of antibodies of the IgG4 subclass could potentially facilitate extended viral persistence via downregulation of Fc-mediated effector functions.”

This IgG4 pattern will come with many other as yet unseen issues across the population.

Have to remain vigilant.

Thanks very useful - but concerning

There is another important aspect to IgG4, Fc-Fc binding. That has the potential to neutralize IgG1/3 bound pathogens or epitope presenting proteins on the surface of infected cells (Immune effector cells can no longer bind to the Fc region of bound Abs.) Have you looked at that issue? With high levels of circulating IgG4 for Spike epitopes a person's immune system might be being sabotaged.
