Lets not exaggerate unduly. So far this year excess death rate is 50% higher among those who had to take all the spike shots (e.g. medical staff), not the whole population. This means, for example, that the absolute death rate in Canada has gone from around 7.8 per 1000 in 2019 to around 7.94 per 1000 in 2023. Alarming events are more noticeable and memorable to the individual who is connected to them, but if you look at the bigger picture it only means total population growth is slowing a bit.
Combine that with much lower birth rates and increasing cancer rates, in a few years we will begin to really see a difference. But it isnt obvious to the average bloke in the street yet.
I live in the Downtown East Side. The neighbourhood has a long history, and part of it is solid working class and quite peaceable. It's weird, as it's like everybody knows which streets are safe and which aren't.
A couple of things added to the problem. Before you just needed to show your health card to a provider. Now you need to show an official picture ID as well. I think this is because lots of druggies would take a vaccine for you for 200$. Given the penalties for not being vaccinated (loss of job, loss of pension, no recourse to welfare benefit, and virtual house arrest) i can see why a lot of people did this. Some of us just bit the bullet and took the penalty, but I understand the temptation. Believe me, it was a very unfun half a year and then some.
The other problem is that the government gives out free drugs to addicts. Dilaudids, which the addicts sell on the street usually to younger kids, and then use that money to buy fentanyl or meth.
The death rates are skyrocketing, but not to fear - soon the government will be offering euthanasia to addicts.
Dear God, Canada was a good country not so long ago. Today - I barely recognise it.

I watched a documentary once, on blood donatation in Cleveland Ohio owned by a German Pharma co. Very EYE opening to see how blood donation is captured. Price of doing business sure is an eye opener to the observer curious minds that want to know.
Dr. McMillian, forgive me for my ignorance on this question. Is morphine and the other drugs you mention here made by a Pharmacutical company somewhere? Just wondering the difference for a soul that dies on a street by them or in multi million dollar home. If they have the same effect on the outcome intendend.
Vancouver is one of the few jurisdictions where you can get safe needles and use them in a clean and secure site. However i believe people are still getting their illegal drugs from street pushers and other sources, which could be Mexican or local or anywhere. As for government approved morphine and fentanyl, yes they would be made by big pharma.

I would think it would have people over reacting to prescription drugs as well?
