Paper out of Japan highlighting increased thyroid autoimmunity after covid vaccination.
There was also a review previously in another paper looking for autoimmunity, with no concern highlighted.
Noureldine, Hussein A., et al. "The effect of the BNT162b2 vaccine on antinuclear antibody and antiphospholipid antibody levels." Immunologic Research (2022): 1-11.
The difference is that the Japan paper looked over 12 months, versus 2 months in the other paper.
Fits with my previous post in August 2022.
Long term risks are not fully elucidated.
Thanks for Sharing Dr McMillan a outstanding discussion. Kind regards Paul
Happy to see that Dr.McMillan has returned to his initial focus area. Provided that severe C19 is viral mediated autoimmune disease, immune response either vaccine induced or naturally induced shall manifest in form of autoimmunity or in form of immune tolerance. In terms of Abs this shall be seen as IgG antibodies against IFN, ILs, etc or in form of IgG4.
Looking forward when Dr.McMillan shall take a look on PASC as an autoimmune syndrome as suggested in https://doi.org/10.1186/s12967-022-03328-4 and other studies.
