High Price for Questioning “Covid Experts”
Interview with Sam Brokken on losing his position over challenging the Covid Narrative

Sam Brokken, a former Senior Lecturer and Head of Research in Health Sciences at two Belgian applied science universities, founded the Humani-Well platform. He has questioned the dogmatic narrative since the beginning of the Corona crisis. On August 24th, 2020, he wrote an open letter to the Belgian government advocating a "Focused Protection" that received 1500 signatures from academics and health experts in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The proposal for a "Focused Protection" followed the same concepts articulated in the Great Barrington Declaration, which was released a few months later. Sam was invited to the one and only National TV debate, where he confronted the state epidemiologist and presented three points. First, vaccines would not prevent transmission; second, corona passports/QR codes would enhance transmission; and third, there was no benefit or ethical justification for vaccinating healthy children and adolescents. The arguments were supported by the then-current research and findings.
The debate was abruptly halted after Sam had been permitted less than two minutes of speaking time to make his views. In the following weeks, he was cancelled, ridiculed, and subjected to character assassination in the mainstream media, ultimately resulting into his dismissal at both of his University Colleges.
Sam L. Brokken, a physiotherapist who graduated in the mid-1990s, went on to pursue specific postgraduate degrees in Sports Physiotherapy, Manipulative Therapies (structural osteopathy), and Manual Therapy in Belgium. He had extensive experience in clinical reasoning, ergonomics, and patient-centered care. He has appeared in over 100 podcasts and interviews around the world, and is best known for his contribution to the Headwind documentaries (over 6 million views), which cover dissident voices during the pandemic, alongside Dr. Robert Malone, Prof Lieven Annemans, and Prof Mattias Desmet, among others. In 2021, he earned the "Motivational-Award" from the Dutch online discussion show "De Nieuwe Wereld" for his unwavering commitment to scientific accuracy and a better world.

It is much better to lose “everything” than auction your soul to the highest bidder.
It occurs to me that the issue is bigger than science; the issue is freedom of speech, freedom of association, etc. Science is just one of many institutions that rely on those freedoms to function properly. Literature, history, entertainment, education, business, democracy, government, and lots of other things need those freedoms to function properly.
The loss of these freedoms has probably been happening a long time, but most of us haven't noticed until the COVID fiasco made it obvious. Most of us haven't felt any need to test our freedoms by moving in directions that our governments don't like. We have been like animals in invisible cages that didn't realize they had lost their freedom.
