I agree: the pandemic is just getting started. I don‘t agree the vaccines did any good. Omicron is a new virus, the new subvariants being SARS-CoV-3 (quote o f a Lancet editorial from the midth of March). Sorry for your injury, but you cannot know for sure it prevented you from severe disease or even death.
I am working in an ICU as a physician. Covid is coming back - even with lung diseases. And people are dying from XBB.1.5 (hopefully not many more from XBB.1.16 or XBB..1.16.1; but my fear is: it‘s going to get worse an worse in a short while). And EVERY patient with Covid in our ICU is vaccinated a couple of times. No unvaccinated. So, I don‘t see a benefit getting vaccinated in our population.
The pandemic is just getting started. It will hit at mostly the vaccinated. Unfortunately.
Well they aren't good, I can tell you that. I am vax injured myself or at least that happened about a week after the jab; couldn't walk at all for a while.
But the virus is a lot worse. And especially for the unvaxed. If my immune system could react like this to the vaccine, without it I would likely be dead.
You take vaccine to train you immune system before the real thing arrives, same as with any other vaccine. This comes with a risk, so does all vaccines. If the vaccine can reduce the risk of severe outcome from the disease, you may have reduced the total risk. Years of data suggests that this is the case and the vaccines have indeed allowed us all to pretend that the pandemic is over.
But the pandemic is just getting started. And because governments will not reveal the reason for all the death and disablement coming our way, guys like this are free to blame it all on the vaccines.
Nobody can sue the virus, of course, which is why Switzerland is shutting the program down. Not because vaccines are too risky, but because they cannot shift the blame for all the destruction without letting us know that the pandemic is still raging on out there. Now that all long COVID had become framed as a vax injury, they have given up on the vax and left us here to die.
You don't seem to know much about this subject. I suggest you suspend this newsletter while you read up on COVID and the available vaccines. There's lots of free information available online.
