This COVID-19 pandemic represents a challenge to our societies on the value we place to our elderly. Are they appreciated for their past contributions or represent a financial and social burden to the progressive world?
I cannot find another virus that so specifically targets an age group. Usually there is also a spike of infant mortality. Would the death of children make a difference to our response?
Similar to dementia, our inaction on COVID-19 could be more reflective than our words.
