This represents the final stretch for my COVID-19 research marathon. Finally, the discovery of autoantibodies to ACE-2 identified last week by Johns Hopkins University adds rocket fuel to the push for more understanding about autoimmunity.

Over the past few days I have made contact with the lead researcher for the largest COVID-19 serum biobank in the UK. The hope is to prove definitively the mechanism by which autoimmunity causes mortality in COVID-19.
Also spoke to the scientific lead for COVID-19 in the UK with the hope of getting funding to support this essential research.
Now I am a facilitator in finding solutions.
This piece of work could lead us out of the pandemic by providing all the answers which I believe are already at our finger tips.
