Increased mortality across Europe for aged 15 to 44 years up 800% from 2019
Would it be surprising that excess deaths across Europe are higher across most age groups in 2021 than in the first and second waves of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020?
Politicians overlooking critical mortality statistics (EuroMOMO 2022) is not surprising, but not clinicians and scientists. All cause mortality remains the most important measure to determine benefit for any intervention as it can highlight hidden risks.
Over a year ago (December 2020), my concern was that mass vaccination would skew the pathology in COVID-19 and make it harder to interpret how the disease could still cause death. Link to post in comments.
This trend of increased mortality in 2021 from EuroMOMO occurs across most age groups, except the over 75's. The data does not indicate the cause of increased all cause mortality but just raises the flag.
Based on my research into COVID-19 autoimmunity, these trends can be explained and potentially mitigated. There is a lot more work to analyse this data, but it should not be ignored.
Challenge your politicians, doctors and scientists to look at the data to determine the cause of this trend.
