Myocarditis is a known risk, especially in younger individuals, with Covid vaccines. The studies have shown rates from rare to 1 in 43 children. Difficult to know what is accurate information.
This recent Israeli paper demonstrates relatively low risk in adolescents:
This paper from Thailand indicates much higher risk in children.
Smallpox vaccine and myocarditis
Smallpox is estimated to have caused over 300 million deaths through the 20th century.
It has been eradicated across the world through vaccination and remains the only disease where this occurred.
Myocarditis can occur in about 12 - 16 per 100,000 smallpox vaccines, but is usually self limiting. In smallpox, the benefit/risk ratio strongly favours vaccination.
Keinath, Kyle, et al. "Myocarditis secondary to smallpox vaccination." Case Reports 2018 (2018): bcr-2017.
How long does smallpox immunity last?
Immunity from smallpox vaccination can last for decades. Although recommended every 3 to 5 years for booster, it is not actually relevant for most people.
Taub, Dennis D., et al. "Immunity from smallpox vaccine persists for decades: a longitudinal study." The American journal of medicine 121.12 (2008): 1058-1064.
The fact that myocarditis is mild, with reduced transmission and stopping a disease with up to 50% mortality, that is an example of a “gold standard” vaccine.

The Covid debacle is throwing the spotlight on to 'vaccination'.
After the tissue of fear-mongering lies that has been spread across the community re Covid, apparently to justify jabbing the entire global population with Covid-19 'leaky vaccines', trust in the scientific and medical establishment has evaporated.
Critical thinkers out here are now questioning all those motherhood statements about vaccination...smallpox vaccination for instance.
See the book Dissolving Illusions for interesting discussion on smallpox vaccination, including contemporary references providing a different story about smallpox vaccination.
It's way past time for scrutiny of vaccine products, and vaccination schedules which are mired in conflicts of interest.
