Dr. Grant McFadden received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 1975, from McGill University. Dr. McFadden is currently a Professor at Arizona State University and is the Director of the Biodesign Center for Immunotherapy, Vaccines, and Virotherapy (BCIVV). His lab also investigates host-virus tropism, and the deployment of poxviruses for oncolytic virotherapy for the treatment of cancer, particularly with a rabbit-specific poxvirus called myxoma virus (MYXV). To date, McFadden has published over 390 scientific papers and reviews.
Dr Christopher Ring is a professor at Middlesex university in the UK and focuses on infectious diseases and their control by immunisation and anti-infective approaches, both conventional and novel, and anti-infective drug resistance.
Dr Thierry Kalonji is a medical doctor and Public Health Specialist with a demonstrated expertise in the area of health program management, M&E including control interventions and research, with over 8 years of working experience in the field of public health and epidemiology (Surveillance and Outbreak investigation) in African countries especially in Democratic Republic of Congo. He worked in Ebola Virus Disease, Cholera and Monkeypox outbreak.
