COVID-19 – Deaths in those with no comorbidities

Over the past year in the USA (800 hospitals) there were 540,667 admissions for COVID-19 and 740 deaths with no comorbidities (0.13%) across all age groups. This group is where we need to focus our resources and attention.

There were 27,375 admissions with no comorbidities. Research focusing on this group could unlock the pathophysiology of COVID-19.
