Challenging the science of COVID-19 vaccines is essential for good practice

Vaccines are given to healthy people to prevent disease. Therefore the safety threshold has to be exceptionally high (Lesson from Susan F. Langlois Retired Pharma Vaccine Regulatory professional).

Public Health, scientists and doctors should not take the trust of their population for granted. It has been earned through rigorous application of scientific method over many decades.

Do not ignore potential adverse effects to vaccination as they can only help to risk stratify the vaccine intervention to those at most risk of severe disease. Adverse effect mitigation is a normal part of clinical practice.

If children are being vaccinated, ensure there is no room for error as the parents will not accept a simple apology for long term harm.

Reduced fertility in Taiwan (23.24% drop in birth rate) if correct, is a red flag that must be astutely investigated to ensure no links to COVID-19 vaccination.

Every unusual clinical presentation must be clarified (monkeypox in non-endemic regions, children's hepatitis, ...) to ensure there can be no links to COVID-19 vaccines.

Science is objective and seeks to get answers.

If this is not done, the loss of public trust in all vaccines could last generations.
